O LORD, do not be far from Me; O My Strength, hasten to help Me! Deliver Me from
the sword, my precious life from the power of the dog. Save Me from the lion's
mouth and from the horns of the wild oxen! You have answered Me. Psalm 22:19- 21
And as they were coming down from the mountain, He (Jesus) gave them orders not
to relate to anyone what they had seen, until the Son of Man should rise from the
And they seized upon that statement, discussing with one another what rising from
the dead might mean.
And they asked Him, saying, "Why is it that the scribes say that Elijah must come

increase, but I must decrease.

and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all. What He has seen
and heard, of that He bears witness; and no man receives His witness. He who has
received His witness has set his seal to this, that God is true. For He whom God
has sent speaks the words of God; for He gives the Spirit without measure. The
Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand.
"He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son shall
