Psalm 139:14 New International Version (NIV)
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made. That is something to think about. God made you in His image and in His likeness. Do you think God is ever sick? You know we are made in the image and likeness of God. Since God is never sick then why should we put up with sickness? Sickness is not "normal". Sickness was not part of how God created the earth. If Adam had not sinned there would not have been any sickness. It took Adam 930 years to do die (Gen 5:5). That is because God did not include sickness and disease when He made the earth.
Today we are doing well if we make it 100 years old in good health. In fact, I do not know of anybody in good health at 100 years old. At 100 people seem like they are sick and feeble. What do you think, is that how God intended it to be? No, it is not how God wanted it to be.
Psalm 139:15-16 New International Version (NIV)
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
16 your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
You know God has you in His book. What did God write in His word about you? Did got write in the word about your illnesses and sickness? God did not intend for any of us to be sick. God wrote in His word about His love for you. God's love for us goes beyond what we can even think or imagine.
Ephesians 3:17-19 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,
19 and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.
Do you want to be filled with the fullness of God? Then work on understanding, knowing, and having personal experience with the Love of God.
Speak the Word: Father I am seeking to be filled with the fullness of God. I am seeking to know and understand the Love of God!
