The wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to
yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

Mark 12:18-27
And some Sadducees (who say that there is no resurrection) came to Him (to Jesus),
and began questioning Him, saying, "Teacher, Moses wrote for us that if a man's
brother dies, and leaves behind a wife, and leaves no child, his brother should
take the wife, and raise up offspring to his brother.

"There were seven brothers; and the first took a wife, and died, leaving no offspring.
And the second one took her, and died, leaving behind no offspring; and the third
likewise; and so all seven left no offspring. Last of all the woman died also. In
the resurrection, when they rise again, which one's wife will she be? For all seven
had her as wife."

Jesus said to them, "Is this not the reason you are mistaken, that you do not understand
the Scriptures, or the power of God? For when they rise from the dead, they neither
marry, nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.

"But regarding the fact that the dead rise again, have you not read in the book
of Moses, in the passage about the burning bush, how God spoke to him, saying, 'I
am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'? He is not the
God of the dead, but of the living; you are greatly mistaken." Mark 12:18-27 (NAS)

And after these things Jesus was walking in Galilee; for He was unwilling to walk
in Judea, because the Jews were seeking to kill Him.

Now the feast of the Jews, the Feast of Booths, was at hand. His brothers therefore
said to Him, "Depart from here, and go into Judea, that Your disciples also may
behold Your works which You are doing. For no one does anything in secret, when
he himself seeks to be known publicly. If You do these things, show Yourself to
the world." For not even His brothers were believing in Him.

Jesus therefore said to them, "My time is not yet at hand, but your time is always
opportune. The world cannot hate you; but it hates Me because I testify of it, that
its deeds are evil.

"Go up to the feast yourselves; I do not go up to this feast because My time has
not yet fully come. And having said these things to them, He stayed in Galilee."
