Mark 13:1-8
And as He (Jesus) was going out of the temple, one of His disciples said to Him,
"Teacher, behold what wonderful stones and what wonderful buildings!" And Jesus
said to him, "Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone shall be left upon
another which will not be torn down."

And as He was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter and James
and John and Andrew were questioning Him privately, "Tell us, when will these things
be, and what will be the sign when all these things are going to be fulfilled?"

And Jesus began to say to them, "See to it that no one misleads you. Many will come
in My name, saying, 'I am He!' and will mislead many.

"And when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be frightened; those things
must take place; but that is not yet the end. For nation will arise against nation,
and kingdom against kingdom; there will be earthquakes in various places; there
will also be famines. These things are merely the beginning of birth pangs." Mark
13:1-8 (NAS)

John 7:31-36
But many of the multitude believed in Him (in Jesus); and they were saying, "When
the Christ shall come, He will not perform more signs than those which this man
has, will He?"
The Pharisees heard the multitude muttering these things about Him; and the chief
priests and the Pharisees sent officers to seize Him.
Jesus therefore said, "For a little while longer I am with you, then I go to Him
who sent Me. You shall seek Me, and shall not find Me; and where I am, you cannot
come."
The Jews therefore said to one another, "Where does this man intend to go that we
shall not find Him? He is not intending to go to the Dispersion among the Greeks,
and teach the Greeks, is He?
"What is this statement that He said, 'You will seek Me, and will not find Me; and
where I am, you cannot come'?" John 7:31-36 (NAS)
