Mark 4:30-34
And He (Jesus) said, "How shall we picture the kingdom of God, or by what parable
shall we present it?

"It is like a mustard seed, which, when sown upon the soil, though it is smaller
than all the seeds that are upon the soil; yet when it is sown, grows up and becomes
larger than all the garden plants and forms large branches; so that the birds of
the air can nest under its shade."

And with many such parables He was speaking the word to them as they were able to
hear it; and He did not speak to them without a parable; but He was explaining everything
privately to His own disciples. Mark 4:30-34 (NAS)

Hebrews 4:12-14
For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and
piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and
able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid
bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.

Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus
the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. Hebrews 4:12-14
