Quick Thought:
The pangs of death surrounded me, and the floods of ungodliness made me afraid.
The sorrows of Sheol surrounded me; the snares of death confronted me. In my distress
I called upon the LORD, and cried out to my God; he heard my voice from His temple,
and my cry came before Him, even to His ears. Psalm 18:4-6 (NKJ)

Mark 3:20-30
And He (Jesus) came home, and the multitude gathered again, to such an extent that
they could not even eat a meal. And when His own people heard of this, they went
out to take custody of Him; for they were saying, "He has lost His senses." And
the scribes who came down from Jerusalem were saying, "He is possessed by Beelzebul,"
and "He casts out the demons by the ruler of the demons."

And He called them to Himself and began speaking to them in parables, "How can Satan
cast out Satan? And if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot
stand. And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to
stand.

"And if Satan has risen up against himself and is divided, he cannot stand, but
he is finished! But no one can enter the strong man's house and plunder his property
unless he first binds the strong man, and then he will plunder his house.
"Truly I say to you, all sins shall be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies
they utter; but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness,
but is guilty of an eternal sin"--because they were saying, "He has an unclean spirit."
Mark 3:20-30 (NAS)

Hebrews 1:8-12
But of the Son (Jesus) He (God) says "Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever, and
the righteous scepter is the scepter of His kingdom.

"Thou hast loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore God, Thy God, hath
anointed Thee with the oil of gladness above Thy companions.

And, "Thou, Lord, in the beginning didst lay the foundation of the earth, and the
heavens are the works of Thy hands; they will perish, but Thou remainest; and they
all will become old as a garment, And as a mantle Thou wilt roll them up; as a garment
they will also be changed.

"But Thou art the same, and Thy years will not come to an end." Hebrews 1:8-12 (NAS)
