Acts 1:8 Amplified Bible (AMP)

8 But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.

What is more powerful than God? Nothing! Spend a moment thinking about it. Think about the most powerful animal you know. Yet God is more powerful. Think about the tallest mountain. God's power created it. Think about the size of the universe. It took a lot of power to create something that big. Think about the power in the sun and all of the stars. Yet God is more powerful.

When you became a Christian and received the Holy Spirit you also received the power of God. God is more powerful then anything you will ever face and God is inside of you. The power of God is in the Holy Spirit that is inside of you.

Speak the Word: Father, thank you. I have more power than I will ever need. I can face every challenge that will come up. Thank you for putting the Holy Spirit inside of me. Thank you for putting your power inside of me.
