Quick Thought:

"Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,
by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is,
His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with
a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil
conscience and our bodies washed with pure water." Hebrews 10:19-22 (NKJ)

Luke 20:21-26

And they questioned Him (Jesus), saying, "Teacher, we know that You speak and teach
correctly, and You are not partial to any, but teach the way of God in truth. Is
it lawful for us to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?"

But He detected their trickery and said to them, "Show Me a denarius. Whose likeness
and inscription does it have?" And they said, "Caesar's."

And He said to them, "Then render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to
God the things that are God's."

And they were unable to catch Him in a saying in the presence of the people; and
marveling at His answer, they became silent." Luke 20:21-26 (NAS)

John 19:12-16
As a result of this Pilate made efforts to release Him (Jesus), but the Jews cried
out, saying, "If you release this Man, you are no friend of Caesar; everyone who
makes himself out to be a king opposes Caesar."

When Pilate therefore heard these words, he brought Jesus out, and sat down on the
judgment seat at a place called The Pavement, but in Hebrew, Gabbatha.

Now it was the day of preparation for the Passover; it was about the sixth hour.
And he said to the Jews, "Behold, your King!"

They therefore cried out, "Away with Him away with Him, crucify Him!" Pilate said
to them, "Shall I crucify your King?" The chief priests answered, "We have no king
but Caesar." So he then delivered Him to them to be crucified. John 19:12-16 (NAS)
