John 1:1 New International Version (NIV)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The Word is God, and we know that God is love, so the Word is love. Let love (the Word of God) make your decisions. When you have a tough decision to make, dig into love (the Word of God). Find out what love has to say about the issue, and then do what the Word of love has told you to do.
The book of Proverbs is a good place to go when you need practical wisdom. When you read Proverbs take special notice of how "love" would handle a situation. You will notice that Proverbs is simple, practical advice on how to live a life of love. Dig into Proverbs and use it in your life.
What does the Word of love have to say about you?
1 Peter 2:24 …by whose stripes ye were healed.
Psalm 30:2 O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
Psalm 34:10 … but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.
Psalm 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.
Psalm 97:10 … he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
Romans 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Spend some time reading the Word and you will never fail.
Speak the Word: Father, I will behave with the love of God I read about in the Word. Love never fails.
